Study and career
The first acquaintance with medicine began in 1997 after entering the Luhansk Medical and Biological Lyceum, which he successfully graduated from in 2000. During his studies at the lyceum, he actively studied biology and chemistry, participating in All-Ukrainian Chemistry Olympiads (1998: 5th place in the team competition; 1999: 7th place).
From 2000 to 2006, he studied human medicine at the Luhansk State Medical University. During his studies from 2003 to 2006, he worked as a nurse at the Luhansk Regional Psychoneurological Hospital.
From 2006 to 2009, he completed his residency (internship) in obstetrics and gynecology at the Luhansk Regional Clinical Hospital.
In 2008, due to staff shortages, he served as the sole obstetrician-gynecologist of the Novoaydar district of Luhansk region, leading outpatient care, managing the inpatient department, and providing 24/7 emergency care.
From 2009 to 2014, he worked as an emergency obstetrician-gynecologist in the gynecological department of Luhansk City Multidisciplinary Hospital No. 2 (serving as the responsible doctor on shift starting in 2013).
Concurrently, from 2010 to 2011, he worked at the private clinic "Medakom" (Luhansk), providing outpatient consultations, pregnancy management, infertility treatment, pelvic inflammatory disease therapy, and menstrual disorder management.
In 2010, he completed the special training course "Endoscopic Surgery" at Donetsk National Medical University.
In 2011, he passed the examination in "Clinical Transfusiology and Prevention of Post-Transfusion Complications" at the Luhansk Regional Blood Transfusion Station.
In 2011, he was awarded the 2nd Qualification Category in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
From 2011 to 2012, he worked part-time as an obstetrician-gynecologist on night duty in the maternity ward of the Luhansk Regional Clinical Hospital, delivering babies and performing Cesarean sections.
From 2011 to 2014, he worked at the private clinic "New Medical Technologies" (Luhansk) as an inpatient gynecologist. During this period, he specialized in operative endoscopy and established routine laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries.
Since 2014, he has been a certified Specialist Doctor in Ultrasound Diagnostics (UA).
Work and study in Kharkiv
From 2014 to 2016, he worked as an operating surgeon at the IVF Center of Prof. Dr. Feskov (Kharkiv). Beside surgical infertility treatment, he specialized in laparoscopic management of complex pelvic endometriosis, removal of large uterine fibroids (myomectomy, TLH, LASH), and surgical correction of pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence.
In 2015, he completed specialized training in "Colposcopy in the Diagnosis of Precancerous and Cancerous Conditions of the Cervix" at the Kharkiv Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education.
In 2015, he was awarded the 1st Qualification Category in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Work and study in Kyiv
From 2016 to 2022, he served as Head of the Inpatient Surgical Department at the renowned private clinic "Omega-Kyiv". Under his surgical and organizational leadership, the department evolved into a multidisciplinary surgical center.
Since 2018, he has been a certified Specialist Doctor in Gynecological Oncology (UA).
Since 2019, he has been an active Member of ESGE (European Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy).
In 2020, he received the Highest Qualification Category in "Obstetrics and Gynecology"
Work and study in Saarbrücken
In 2022, he relocated to Germany. The year was dedicated to intensive acquisition of medical German (FSP C1 Medizin examination).
Starting December 2022, he completed a clinical observership at CaritasKlinikum Saarbrücken St. Theresia. In April 2023, he obtained his German medical practice license (Berufserlaubnis) and continued practicing in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics.
In December 2024, he introduced vNOTES surgery at CaritasKlinikum Saarbrücken and successfully performed the hospital's first scarless transvaginal hysterectomy.
To perfect complex urogynecological and pelvic floor procedures, he utilizes state-of-the-art 3D laparoscopy. This technology provides the surgeon with a three-dimensional, high-definition view of the surgical field, enabling tissue-preserving dissection, reduced operative times, and optimal functional outcomes in complex reconstructions.
Stanislav Stryzhakov's clinical focus includes surgical treatment of uterine fibroids, deep infiltrating endometriosis, uterine cavity lesions, pelvic organ prolapse (pectopexy, sacrocolpopexy, mesh implants), surgical correction of urinary incontinence, and aesthetic genital surgery (labiaplasty).
Special emphasis is placed on laparoscopic and vNOTES-based removal of giant fibroids and complex adnexal tumors while maximizing organ and tissue preservation.
In endometriosis surgery, utmost priority is given to precise, fertility-sparing preservation of ovarian tissue and thorough resection of pelvic peritoneal lesions.
